Amy works behind the scenes making sure our office runs smooth and efficiently as our Practice Administrator. She has also been Dr. Retterbush’s Mohs technician for the past 2 years. She has worked in the medical field for 18 years with 15 of the years in dermatology. She lives in Oconee County with her husband and 3 children. When not working she enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Billing Specialist
Elizabeth is our Medical Billing Specialist. She moved back to Athens several years ago to be close to family. She enjoys playing tennis and cooking when she is not chasing after her 2 boys, ages 1 & 2.

Medical Assistant
Barbara is a certified medical assistant and has been in dermatology for 14 years. She received her certification at New Horizon Medical Institute. Along with her being a medical assistant she is also the surgery coordinator her at University Dermatology. Barbara lives in Morgan County with her family and Midnight the cat.

Medical Assistant
Bryce is a native of South West Georgia who first moved to Athens in 2012. She graduated from The University of Georgia with a degree in Psychology and Biology in 2016, and has been working in the dermatology field for almost 3 years now as a medical assistant and surgical technician. She has a passion for cosmetic and surgical dermatology. In her spare time she enjoys entertaining her beloved dog – Chance, spending time with friends and family, attending UGA football games and traveling.

Front Desk
Courtland has been in the medical field for the last five years, but only in dermatology for little over a year. In her free time, she enjoys going camping anywhere there is water. What she enjoys most is spending time with her two daughters. All in all her husband and daughters are her world.
What she likes best about working at University Dermatology?
This is the first place I have felt welcomed at with having children. They are so wonderful to employees as well as patients. They are family oriented and that’s what I LOVE about this place.

Alma has worked in the medical field for the past five years. She was in pediatrics and is new to dermatology. Alma grew up in Elbert County and has been living in Athens since 2015. She is bilingual and can help with translating for Spanish speaking patients. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends.
